2013 Arkansas Literary FestivalAugust 22, 2012
The Arkansas Literary Festival in Little Rock, Arkansas is an annual gathering of lovers of literature, be it famous writers, aspiring authors, or people who just like to enjoy a good book. This festival takes place every year in April, with this coming year’s festival taking place from April 18th to April 21th, 2013.
Once just a humble gathering, this festival has expanded tremendously and now includes over 95 presenters hailing from all over the nation. During the course of the four day festival, visitors can participate in a variety of different events. These events include workshops in which everyday people can learn how to hone their writing skills, author sessions in which notable authors share memorable stories and answer questions about their works, and panels in which groups of emerging authors give valuable advice on how to break into the industry.
The Arkansas Literary Festival is a wonderful way to get involved in literature, talk to experienced writers, and just have fun. With four days available, participants have plenty of time to visit all the exhibits and explore every nook and cranny of the festival.
