2013 International Greek Food FestivalSeptember 13, 2012
The International Greek Food Festival, which takes place in Little Rock, Arkansas every year in May, is exactly what it sounds like: a festival with tons of food hailing from Greek and Mediterranean culture.
This year, the Greek Food Festival took place from May 18 to May 20, 2012 at 1100 Napa Valley Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas. This annual Greek Food Festival is the biggest ethnic festival that takes place in Arkansas and has been around for 27 years. Each year, thousands of people come out to experience the different foods from the Mediterranean. The menu includes local favorites, ranging from sweets such as pastries to savory foods such as Greek Souvlaki, also known as Greek kabobs. In case participants get too full from eating all the delicious foods, the Greek Food Fest also offers other attractions including the Old World Market, which sells handmade trinkets and treasures from Greece, tours of the Church, and a kid’s area, which contains many fun activities like face painting, candy walk, jump houses, and a rock climbing wall.
This Greek food festival is a wonderful event for the whole family, and will provide many cherished memories for the years to come.
