It’s official – after defeating LSU in an entertaining final game of the regular season, our Arkansas Razorbacks will be representing the SEC at one of the marquee events in college football: the Allstate Sugar Bowl!
Saturday, November 27th marked a significant point in Razorbacks football history, as the team wrapped up its 8th 10-win (and 4th 6-win SEC) season in school history. They did it in style against the fifth ranked LSU tigers, never trailing in the game, and finishing with the score 31-23. With the win the Hogs vaulted to 7th in the BCS rankings, good enough to claim their first ever BCS Bowl game appearance.
All eyes in Arkansas will now be focused on New Orleans, as the Razorbacks prepare for 6th-ranked Ohio State. Star quarterback Ryan Mallett leads one of the most high-octane offenses in the NCAA, while Bryant Award finalist Coach Petrino has the team firing on all cylinders.
